Bespoke Catio

This was the first 'catio' we have built. A catio is an outdoor space for indoor cats. Most of the off the shelf catios available online are quite lightweight and completely open to the elements. This one was designed to be more like a high quality gazebo (for cats!)
We started by installing the deck for the catio to sit on.
The catio itself is made from solid hardwood and painted with a tough exterior satin acrylic paint. An EPDM roof with a 20 year guarantee was then installed to keep the elements at bay .
We made all of the cat shelves and accessories inside with the offcuts from the job.
